About the session

Mayoral Reception: Summary of IPCC and COP26: What is the latest science and what does this mean for cities?
To welcome guests attending (virtually) the 2021 Innovate4Cities Conference, to engage the audience in issues of importance to the region pertaining to cities climate change science and action, and to encourage networking regionally and globally to generate relationships to implement solutions discovered at the conference.
To acknowledge the Oceania regional curator team members / organisations for their contribution to the Innovate4Cities Conference.
The session will focus on the question: “What is the latest climate change science and what does this mean for cities – practitioners and leaders – in the region?” .
