Roland Dane Carreon
Housing and Homesite Regulation Officer V (OIC-Chief, Urban Development Division) at Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD)
Mr. Roland Dane Z. Carreon is an environmental planner and currently part of the Philippine Government as a Housing and Homesite Regulation Officer V designated as OIC-Chief of the Urban Development Division of the Department of Human Settlements and Urban Development (DHSUD). He was previously with the United Nations Human Settlements Programme (UN-Habitat) in the Philippines as a City Coordinator for the Building Climate Resiliency through Urban Plans and Designs (BCRUPD) project that is part of the International Climate Initiative (IKI) with the support of the German Government.He is a graduate of BA Public Administration with Cum Laude distinction from the University of the Philippines-Diliman (2011) and a Graduate Diploma in Urban and Regional Planning (2012) holder from the same institution. He recently attended training programs on Sustainable Urban Development organized by KOICA and Building with Nature Refresher Course organized by IHS of Erasmus University Rotterdam.Mr. Carreon is also an educator alongside his work in the government, he is currently raising awareness and advocating for the importance of urban planning and development in the country by molding the youth and facilitating learning as a Part-time Faculty member of the De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB) in Manila, Philippines.
