Vice President & Global Director for Sustainable Infrastructure for Wood plc - United States of America
Peter is Vice President and global director for sustainable and resilient infrastructure for the Wood organization working across all industry sectors. He integrates sustainability and resilience into Wood projects to deliver outputs that support climate risks, community impact and align with finance. He is the Ambassador for Climate Resilience at the Stimpson Center, manages the firms partnership with the Resilience Cities Network and is the business engagement lead for the UNFCC Race to Resilience Climate team. Peter is the director for the Wood ADAPT for resiliency framework and manages the Wood ResilienceLens Screen for Investments tool that was developed in partnership with the Rockefeller Foundation and R-Cities. He also supports the Meridiam CCF urban resilience fund that is creating a shift in infrastructure that is both resilient and creates opportunities and impacts for the people that rely on their services. He is also the technical director for the Wood/Resilience Shift “resilience realized” to shape and scale world-class resilience infrastructure projects. He has been with Wood for over 35 years and is based in Portland, Maine. He has a B.Sc. Degree from St. Lawrence University, a Business Management Credential from USM School of Business and an Alliance for Water Stewardship Accredited Professional.
