Senior Development Planning Specialist @ at the National Planning Commission - Malawi
Maxwell Jackson Maida is the Senior Development Planning Specialist responsible for Infrastructure and Spatial Planning at the National Planning Commission (Malawi). Maxwell joined the Commission in June 2020 at a time the country was crafting its long term development blueprint, Malawi 2063. Maxwell holds an MSc from Leeds University and a BSc in Architectural Studies from the University of Malawi. Prior to joining the Commission Maxwell worked with Local Councils through Local Development Fund (LDF) in planning and implementation of rural projects. Maxwell also worked with STRABAG International GmbH on a road rehabilitation project. He also worked with Habitat for Humanity Malawi where he oversaw the Housing Support Services project which supported housing owners in urban and periurban areas with technical services.
