Bio

Dr Rumana Sultana is a social-ecological researcher experienced in working at different aspects of environmental governance, urban management, natural resource conservation and climate change adaptation. She is Assistant Professor at the Center for Sustainable Development, University of Liberal Arts Bangladesh. Over the last nine years she has been involved and worked with World Bank, UNDP, ILO, OXFAM, Manusher Jonno Foundation and Bangladesh Government agencies in different capacities. Her research niche includes sustainable urban green space management, building social-ecological resilience, and climate risk reduction strategies exploration. Dr Sultana brings expertise in new scientific knowledge creation, and dissemination. Her research works have been published in different internationally and nationally reputed journals and books. She is enthusiastic about collaboration and networking to promote sustainable human and nature relationships as well as climate-resilient societies.
