Bio

Ms. Jing QIN is the chief engineer and senior urban planner of China Centre for Urban Development, National Development and Reform Commission, China. She has obtained Certificates of China's National Registered Urban Planner and National First-Class Registered Architect. Ms. Qin’s research interests include new urbanization, featured towns (Tese Xiaozhen), and urban regeneration. Ms. Qin has accumulated a lot of project experience in spatial planning, regional planning, urban design, etc. She has participated in a series of demonstration projects carried out by the National Development and Reform Commission of China. Before joining the China Center for Urban Development, Ms. Qin was an urban designer at AECOM. Ms. Qin received a Master of Architecture in Urban Design from University College London in the UK and a Bachelor of Engineering in Urban Planning from Southeast University in China.
