Bio

Mr. Dilip Pratap Khand is serving as the Mayor of Waling municipality since 2017. He had served as Deputy-Mayor of Waling from 1997-2002. Wailing municipality has set examples in the sector of solid-waste management and improving urban environment and has been awarded as the clean city of Nepal and Best municipality of the country. His vision is to develop Wailing municipality as a smart city, focused on achieving citizens’ happiness and prosperity.
