Regional Cities Lead for Asia, International Finance Corporation (IFC) - Singapore


Aurelie is IFC’s Asian lead for cities and sub nationals, responsible for investments and advisory work in municipal financing, waste, water and urban services across Asia. The IFC (International Finance Corporation) is the private sector arm of the World Bank Group. Aurelie started her career in IFC seven years ago in the natural resources team based in Istanbul and London. She then moved to Washington DC to be an advisor to the World Bank Group President.Aurelie brings over 10 years of experience in commercial and investment banking and advisory. Prior to IFC, she worked in the project finance team of Société Générale covering mostly power, mining and oil & gas investments in London and Shanghai and was part of the team that set up the Energy team of Commonwealth Bank of Australia in London.
Aurelie holds a Msc degree in Geoscience Engineering from the Ecole Nationale Superieure de Geologie, France and a joint Msc degree in Petroleum Economics and Management/Petroleum Engineering from Institut Français du Pétrole (IFP, France)/Texas A & M University (TAMU, USA).
