Bio

Agnese is Lecturer in Architectural technology at the Barcelona School of Architecture, Polytechnic University of Catalunya (UPC) and formerly Research Fellow at the Resource Efficient Future Cities Centre at Brunel University London. Architectural Engineer by background, she achieved a double PhD title from Sapienza University of Roma and UPC with the thesis: “The compact city in Mediterranean climate: Heat Island, Urban Morphology and Sustainability”. Her research interest is focused on the reciprocal interactions between buildings and urban climate at the local and micro scales and the impact on energy efficiency and people’s health and wellbeing in Mediterranean regions.
