Sandi is a Kalkadoon/Kalkatungu, Ngnwun, Yirandali woman from Northwest Queensland, and a member of EAROPH. She is an experienced community development practitioner with a strong social justice ethos, demonstrated throughout a 35-year career working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities across Queensland.
Sandi works from the premise of self-determination, community empowerment and leadership, and she is committed to a Rights based Agenda for First Nations peoples.
She currently is a Program Advisory committee member and works in collaboration as the First Nations Advisor to support the co-design and developmental process of the Cairns Festival Program.
