Dr. Kim Cobb is a scientist and faculty Director of the Global Change Program at Georgia Tech that focuses on building capacity for climate solutions. In her research, she uses observations of past and present climate to advance our understanding of future climate change impacts, with a focus on climate extremes and coastal flood hazards. She is honored to be a Lead Author for the IPCC Sixth Assessment Report, and is a married mother to four.
